Celebrate the First Minnesota State Water Trails Day this Saturday

13 Jul

Did you know that Minnesota has the oldest and largest system of water trails in the country? Governor Mark Dayton has declared Saturday the first annual State Water Trails Day in Minnesota to celebrate the many ways Minnesotans can get out on the water.

Want to join in the fun? The Department of Natural Resources has a great web page with water trails, trip planning tips and programs for new paddlers HERE. They’ve also put together some great day trips from the Twin Cities HERE.
